Tulsa drops to 14th in Palmetto Intercollegiate

Kiawah Island, SC –– The Tulsa women’s golf team shot a second round score of 312 on Monday for a 14th place total of 609 after the first 36 holes of the Palmetto Intercollegiate. The final round takes place on Tuesday from the par-72 Turtle Point Golf Course.
 
Tulsa junior Nadia Majidizadeh, from Tulsa’s Union High School, still leads the Hurricane contingent after two days with a 27th place score of 149, after shooting a round of 77 today. Senior Alex Haun carded a second-round 78 and is in 44th place with a total score of 152.
 
Freshmen Johanna Samuelsson and Mackenzie Medders are tied for 70th place with scores of 157, while senior Antonia Von Wnuck tied with Majidizadeh for the best round of the day for the Hurricane with a 77 and sits in 77th place with a 158 total.

Furman moved into the lead after scoring a round of 289 for a 577 two-day total, five strokes ahead of second-place Campbell. Furman’s Haylee Harford holds down the individual lead with a five-under par 139 after shooting the lone round in the 60s today with a score of four-under par 68.
