Tulsa finishes seventh at the American Athletic Conference Championship
PINEHURST, NC –– The Tulsa golfers finished in seventh place at the American Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday with a 54-hole score of 914. The Golden Hurricane carded a final round 312 at the at the par-72 Pinehurst No. 6 Course.
Tulane moved from fourth place after two rounds into the team champion seat today with a final round score of 7-over par 295 for an 892 final total.
For the Hurricane, freshman Sydney Seigel turned in Tulsa’s best round today at 1-over par 73 and finished with a season-best 7th place performance with a 224 total score. Fellow freshman Lovisa Gunnar placed 14th overall after today’s 77 gave her a 226 final score.
Lilly Thomas placed 19th with a final score of 229, while Sophie Johnson finished in 37th place with a 237 total. Senior Haley Greb finished in 47th place with a two-round score of 159.
SMU’s Kennedy Pedigo won individual medalist honors with a 219 total score.
