ShaeBug Scarberry of Purcell set a record with her third consecutive victory in the Texas-Oklahoma Junior Tournament Wednesday, winning by seven shots over Midland’s Faith DeLaGarza after rounds of 72-71-70.

Maddi Kamas of Kingfisher, a recent semifinalist in the Oklahoma Golf Association Girls Junior, dominated the girls 14-15 age group and would have finished fourth overall if she was in the Open Flight with her 54-hole score of 225 (77-74-74). Adeline Norton of Ardmore finished fifth at 226 (75-78-73), Chloe Black of Newcastle seventh at 229 (75-77-77), Hayden Meiser of Norman eighth at 232 (80-79-73), Emily Miller of Edmond ninth at 233 (77-79-77) and Jordan Clayborn of Tahlequah 10th at 234 (78-77-79).

Zane Heusel of Edmond took second in the boys open flight at 215 (75-73-71), two shots behind Zachary Slayton of Austin. In a group tied for fourth were Kolton Baber of Devol (77-70-76), Logan Brooks (76-74-73) and Brodey Claborn of Oklahoma City (74-76-73). Matthew Osteen of Kingston tied for ninth at 226 (76-77-73).
