Allard, Benn prevail at OJGT’s Lake Hefner Spring Classic

Murphy Allard of Rogers, Ark., shot rounds of 71-71 to win the Lake Hefner South Spring Classic on the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour by two shots over Brooksie Levonitis of Oklahoma City Sunday.

Levonitis opened with a 75 and fired a 68 on Sunday to close the gap and finish a shot ahead of Hayden Hall of Owasso (71-73) and two better than Josiah Crews of Ninnekah, Andrew Fakult of Rogers, Craig Sanders of Edmond, Ben Thionnet of Edmond and Buddy Wehrili of Tulsa.

Brooklyn Benn of Edmond shot rounds of 81-77 to win the girls division by two shots over Lily Whitely of Edmond (80-80). Maisie Liddell (78-83) of Ardmore and Sarah Sherrard (78-73) of Moore tied for third at 161.
