Natalie Blonien of Altus made a birdie on the second playoff hole to win the Amundi Evian Showcase, an American Junior Golf Association event for seniors who have yet to commit to a college. The 36-hole event was held at the Las Vegas Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.

It was the first AJGA victory for Blonien, who shot rounds of 70-71 for a 3-under total of 141 and tied Alyssa Lim of Union City, Calif., in regulation. Blonien made six birdies in the 36 holes and an eagle on the par-4 seventh hole in her final round. One of the state’s best junior golfers, Blonien has had great success in high school and Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour events but is reportedly still mulling collegiate offers.
