Brown, Olszewski are champs in Indian Springs Summer Classic
Nathan Brown of Tulsa won a playoff with Cohen Museousky of Wichita to win the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour’s Indian Springs Summer Classic held Monday-Tuesday at Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow.
Brown shot an opening 64 and a second round of 74, while Museousky shot rounds of 69-69. Tuesday’s second round was played with heat indexes reaching close to 115 degrees.
David Shepherd of Enid took third at 1-under (73-70). Brody Boyd of Tulsa (73-72) and Maverick Beeson of Norman (73-72) tied for fifth at 1 over.
Mary Mills Olszewski of Oklahoma City won the girls division, shooting rounds of 75-78 to finish at 9-over 153. That was four shots clear of Kennedy Parker of Perkins (81-76). Kylie Fisher of Tahlequah was third at 160 (81-79).
