Coffman and Birchell win OGA Four-Ball Championship

Jeff Coffman and Brian Birchell posted a second consecutive 5-under 65 to edge brothers Phillip and Joshua Bryan by a stroke and win the Oklahoma Golf Association Four-Ball Championship Tuesday at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond.

The Bryans shot a second-round 68 after taking the first-round lead with a 63 to finish at 9-under 131 while Coffman and Birchell were first at 130. Charlie Crouse and David Kurtz shot consecutive rounds of 67 to finish at 6-under 134.

The Senior Four-Ball Championship went to Bruce Maddux and Jim Roberts, who won a playoff with Craig Collins and John Petersen after both finished at 7-under 133. Maddux and Roberts shot 67-66 while Collins and Petersen  shot 66-67. Jeff Smith and Jonathan Valuck were a shot back at 134 (67-67).
