JUNO BEACH, Fla. – Oklahoma State’s men’s golf team will continue its fall slate this week when it begins play at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup at Seminole Golf Club.
The Cowboys will be one of 14 teams in action at the par-72, 7,280-yard layout. The field will play 27 holes on Monday with another 27 scheduled for Tuesday. Wednesday’s format for the final round will pair the teams for match play according to seed.
The event made its debut in 2021 and is named in honor of the late Jackson T. Stephens, former chairman of Augusta National Golf Club.
OSU is coming off a sixth-place showing last week at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club.
This week’s starting five for the Cowboys will consist of juniors Jonas Baumgartner and Bo Jin as well as seniors Dillon Stewart, Hazen Newman and fifth year Leo Oyo.
Live scoring for the event will be available at golfstat.com. Golf Channel will televise the event with coverage slated for Monday from 3-6 p.m. (CST), Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. (CST) and Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. (CST).
Additionally, the Cowboys will have a pair of players in action at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational this week at Crestview Country Club in Wichita. Senior Rayhan Thomas and freshman John Wild will both compete at the event, which will take place Monday and Tuesday.
