Cowgirls second going into final round in Hawaii

KANE’OHE, Hawaii – The No. 17 Oklahoma State women’s golf team will enter the final 18 holes of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in second place behind only Texas at the Kane’ohe Klipper Golf Course.

Senior Emma Broze led the Cowgirls with a 6-over par 150 through two rounds. Broze is in sixth on the player leaderboard heading into Wednesday’s final round.

Junior Chih-Min Chen and freshman Stephanie Astrup are tied for ninth place thanks to 7-over par 151. Astrup tallied up four birdies in the second round of play.

Alexis Sadeghy was tremendous in the morning round with a 1-over 73, and will enter the final 18 holes in a tie for 14th place at 9-over par. Senior Kenzie Neisen is tied for 39th place on the leaderboard at 15-over par.

Participating as individuals, Emma Whitaker shot 24-over par, which is good for 59th place, while Emily Batchelder is in 68th place at 34-over.

The Cowgirls will tee off the final round of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at 8 a.m. HT (1 p.m. CT).
