Falleur is Summit League champion, Oral Roberts claims third

SELLERSBURG, Ind. – Mesa Falleur of Muskogee shot rounds of 67-71-67 to finish 11-under and win the Summit League Championship at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Ind.

Falleur helped UMKC shoot 17-under in the final round and pull away from South Dakota State and Oral Roberts University.

Presten Richardson finished second individually for ORU at 8-under after rounds of 67-70-71. ORU finished 15 shots behind UMKC and eight out of second.

Jackson Drake (71-69-72), the Scholar of the Championship, finished four back of Richardson at 4-under par. He finished tied for 12th in individuals. Drake put together a strong second round shooting 3-under par on day two helping tie the Golden Eagles for first after two rounds played.

Rocco Repetto-Taylor (68-71-75), a First Team All-League Selection, finished two back of Drake at 2-under par and tied for 17th. Repetto-Taylor came out firing in round one as the senior carded six birdies on the way to a 4-under par round.

Gustav Liljeberg (72-73-72) finished three back of Repetto-Taylor at 1-over par. Liljeberg finished 29th playing a consistent tournament all three days. The freshman carded eight birdies during the event and added an eagle during round one.

Kevin An (69-75-76), an All-League Honorable Mention, finished three back of Liljeberg at 4-over par. The sophomore finished tied for 34th. In round one, An carded four birdies on the way to a 3-under par outing.
