Five share lead in OK Kids Korral Championship
Belmar Golf Club showed some teeth in the second round of the OK Kids Korral Championship. Close to half the field finished under par during the first round action on Wednesday, but scores were two strokes higher on Thursday. High winds and the thick native grass created tough scoring conditions.
Five players share the lead at 7-under par. They are Vilhelm Bogstrand of Oslo, Norway, Sam Powell of Tulsa, Jonathan Randolph of Brandon, Miss., former Oklahoma State player Trent Whitekiller of Sallisaw and first-round leader Jordan Russell of College Station, Texas.
A total of 44 players made the cut at 1-over-par & better.
