Folds of Honor’s Biata enters Central New York Section Hall of Fame

Tony Biata, the director of Patriot Golf Day for the Folds of Honor Foundation based in Owasso, was recently inducted into the Central New York Section of the PGA of America Hall of Fame for his accomplishments there from 1996-2011, prior to joining Dan Rooney’s team at the Folds of Honor.

In the Central New York Section, Biata served as section president in 2008 and previously was vice president and section secretary, also serving on every section committee and on its board of directors. He started Folds of Honor fundraising there in 2008, leading to his current post. Biata was the owner of Parbreakers Golf Center in Syracuse from 1997 to 2009.

2023 Inducted into the Central New York PGA

At the Folds of Honor, Biata has helped transform Patriot Golf Day from a one-day fundraiser into a year-round mission among PGA and LPGA members where courses can individually design their own model of how best to support the foundation’s mission.
