Fresh off victory, Cowboys back in action at VyStar Gators Invitational
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Oklahoma State’s men’s golf team will resume its spring slate this weekend when it takes part in the 45th annual VyStar Gators Invitational at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
The Cowboys, who enter play fresh off a come-from-behind victory at the Amer Ari Invitational in their spring opener in Hawaii, will be one of 14 teams in action at the par-70, 6,701-yard layout.
The 54-hole event will consist of 36 holes on Saturday followed by Sunday’s final round.
OSU’s starting five will be led by Eugenio Chacarra, who captured his first individual title in Hawaii. The senior fired a closing 62 to match the school’s 18-hole scoring record en route to his victory.
Chacarra will be joined in the lineup by senior Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, the junior duo of Brian Stark and Rayhan Thomas as well as sophomore Bo Jin.
Freshman Jordan WIlson will compete individually.
The Cowboys will begin play on Saturday at 7:45 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Florida and LSU. Live scoring for the event will be available at golfstat.com.
