The Golf Guys to debut on The Franchise
A new golf talk show will make its debut on The Franchise in Oklahoma City. The Golf Guys will be broadcast from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on 107.7 FM. It will also be carried by The Franchise Tulsa on 107.9 FM
The show features Franchise employees led by sales manager Brian McGreevy, a long-time top flight amateur in Oklahoma and father of former University of Oklahoma All-America Max McGreevy, who currently has conditional status on the Web.com Tour.
McGreevy and co-hosts Buddy Wiley and Evan Allford will discuss the latest in professional, college and amateur golf along with irreverent takes on many aspects of the game and a fantasy golf segment. The show will be taped on Friday evenings.
McGreevy said the show will run this Saturday through at least the start of college football season in September.
Oklahoma’s long-running show, The Golf Oklahoma Radio Hour sponsored by Tulsa Golf Fitness Systems will return on April 7 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on The Tulsa Sports Animal, 97.1 FM, and its affiliates. The live show is co-hosted by Golf Oklahoma publisher Ken MacLeod, PGA professional Tracy Phillips and sports columnist Dave Sittler.
