National Associated Press golf writer Doug Ferguson will be a guest as the Golf Oklahoma Radio Hour Presented by the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship makes its delayed 2021 debut at 8 a.m. Saturday on The Tulsa Sports Animal, 97.1 FM, and its affiliates.
Ferguson will go over all the changes on the national scene including the revamped schedules of the PGA Tour, USGA, PGA of America, LPGA and the other changes the COVID-19 pandemic has made on the golf world, including what some of the top pros are thinking as the season gets set to resume in June at The Colonial in Fort Worth.
Also joining hosts Ken MacLeod, Dave Sittler and Tracy Phillips will be Pat McCrate, who operates LaFortune Park and South Lakes golf courses. His courses were forced to close for a month and now are operating on strict precautions, but they have also been slammed with customers. We’ll discuss the unique role golf has played in the current situation.
Call in with your questions at 918-460-5925 or tweet them to @okgolf2. The show will be available for replay the following week at www.golfoklahoma.org.
