Golfers can win big at upcoming Patricia Island/Indigo Sky events
A pair of interesting tournaments are slated for October at the vastly improved Patricia Island Golf Club on Grand Lake.
First up is the Patricia Island/Indigo Sky Two-Man Best Ball scheduled Oct 2-4. Cost is $2,000 per team and all prizes are cash. The event begins on Friday Oct. 2 with practice rounds and a 4 p.m. horse race.
During Saturday’s first round there will also be a skins game with dinner and Calcutta at Indigo Sky Casino to follow. All prizes to be paid out following final round Sunday. Tees are by ages and gender.
The second event is the PICC/Indigo Sky Casino Four State Shootout, a four-person scramble from Oct. 16-18. Entry fee again is $2,000 per team. Teams will play in eight somes with a walking scorer in each group to ensure integrity in the scoring.
The tournament will be flighted after the first round with a bump rule in effect.
