Hale, Reeder, Mabrey look to advance at PGA Tour First Stage Qualifying at Muskogee GC

Former Oklahoma Sooner Blaine Hale leads several players with Oklahoma ties hoping to keep their dreams alive as the PGA Tour First State Qualifying Tournament reaches its final round today at Golf Club of Muskogee.

Hale is 8-under par through 54 holes of the 72-hole qualifying event and two shots behind Luis Gerardo Garcia. Tyson Reeder of Edmond is tied for ninth at 7-under. Matt Mabrey of Sand Springs is tied for 18th at 2-under, Johnathan Brightwell of Edmond is tied for 22nd at even par and Jared Strathe of Owasso is tied for 25th at even par. At least 21 golfers of the field of 78 are expected to advance to Second Stage Qualifying.
