Hart ties for sixth in Junior World Championships at Torrey Pines

Porter Hart of Broken Arrow shot rounds of 73-71-73 on the historic Torrey Pines Golf Course to finish at 1-over-par and tied for sixth in the Boys 15-18 division of the Uswing Mojing Junior World Championships concluding Thursday in San Diego.

It was the latest in a run of strong play for Hart, a rising junior on the Broken Arrow boys high school team, who recently shot 63 in a PGA South Central Section Junior Tour event at LaFortune Park.

Also competing in the event was Dia Singh of Bixby, the current OGA Junior Girls Amateur champion.

Singh tied for 22nd at 4-over among 101 competitors in the Girls 13-14 age group.

Camden Jones of Bartlesville tied for 99th in the Boys 13-14 age group.
