Hermann is Freshman of Year, first-team all conference for Dalton State
Sydney Hermann, the 2019 girls Class 6A individual champion from Ponca City, was named the Southern State Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and a first-team all-conference player after a sterling freshman season.
Hermann, who was also named to the All-Freshman team, had two top-10 finishes in five events in the season cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic. Dalton State was ranked fifth in the country in NAIA.
