Hong prevails in prestigious Mack Championship Invitational
With rounds of 73-74, Juliana Hong of Norman spent her Easter weekend picking up a prestigious victory in the 2025 Mack Championship at Carlton Woods near Houston.
The two-shot victory over defending champion Lydia Portlock of San Antonio secures full exemptions into the PGA Junior Championship, the ANNIKA Invitational and the IMG Academy Junior World Championship.
Hong, the defending Class 6A state champion, and Norman North teammate Harlow Gregory will be competing together in the USGA Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship May 10-14 at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.
The Mack Championship Invitational honors Mack Champ, the grandfather of PGA Tour golfer Cameron Champ.
