Jake Hopper, a 15-year-old sophomore at Norman North,  blazed his way to an 11-under 133 for 36 holes to edge James Roller by two shots in the Lake Hefner Shootout on the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour Sunday.

Hopper opened with a 4-under 68 Saturday, then added a 7-under 65 Sunday on the Lake Hefner North layout as the OJGT players continue to batter par unmercifully. Roller, who won on the tour the previous week, shot rounds of 68-67 for a 9-under 135, edging Andrew Goodman of Norman by a shot (71-65). Jaxon Dowell of Edmond was fourth at 137 and Bosten Benn of Edmond fifth at 140.

Roller is a Texas Tech commit, while Goodman and Dowell have committed to the University of Oklahoma.

Raychel Nelke of Pocolo fired a 5-under 67 in the final round to come from behind to win the girls division with a 3-under 141, two shots ahead of Kate Tilma of Eastborough, Kan., (71-72), Olivia Coit of Edmond and Maddi Kamas of Kingfisher tied for third at even-par 144.

Parker Payne of Norman won the boys 12-14 division with scores of 74-70 for an even-par 144 total.
