The final lesson and play day of the LPGA/USGA girls golf group for northeastern Oklahoma was held on a sun-splashed Saturday afternoon at Regent Prep in Tulsa.

Led by Maggie Roller, director of instruction at Cedar Ridge CC,  with a host of pros and coaches pitching in, more than 20 young ladies went through various stations learning the fundamentals of full swings, short game and putting.

SNAG equipment was used to limit ball flight, but most meetings are held at LaFortune Park on the driving range.

Anyone interested in the free program should contact Roller at maggie.roller@sbcglobal.net.

Maggie Roller works with Kate Dixon, 12, who has already broken 80 in a U.S. Kids event.
