Anna Mikish of Choctaw and Oklahoma City University shot a 3-under 69 at The Patriot to lead qualifying Tuesday for the 2016 Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur Championship.

Mikish along with two-time defending champion Yujeon Son and the other top 14 qualifiers will compete in Championship Flight. A Flight will be nearly as competitive, with a host of talented collegians including Alexis Sadeghy of Oklahoma State, who won the WOGA Stroke Play Championship earlier this summer at Tulsa Country Club.

Match play in all flights begins today with championship matches scheduled Friday.
