While waiting to get starts through her rookie status on the LPGA Tour, Kaitlin Milligan is making the best of her time.

The Norman pro shot a 6-under 66 in the final round of the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic on the Epson Tour Sunday to finish in a six-way tie for second, one shot behind winner Madison Young.

Young started her day tied for the lead, a position she has only been in once in her career. She settled her nerves early, making four straight pars to open her round. The next four holes for Young defined the outcome of the whole tournament. The 27-year-old played holes 5 through 8 in 6-under par, going birdie-eagle-birdie-eagle to open up a five-shot lead heading into the back nine.

Milligan opened with rounds of 69-71. She jumped up 19 spots in the final round with her closing 66. Complete scoring is here.
