New champ to be crowned in 2024 Oklahoma Open
Two past champions are in the field as the 54-hole 2024 Oklahoma Open begins today on the East Course at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond.
Kevin Dillen of Paris, Texas, who won in 1998, and 2018 champion Casey Fernandez of Durant are in a 12:30 p.m. pairing together along with Andrew Lehman.
Live scoring of the event is here.
The winner receives $10,000.
Blaine Hale Jr., who won in 2023, is not in the field. Hale went on to earn his PGA Tour card and the man he edged by a stroke, Max McGreevy, is playing this week in the Korn Ferry Tour finals. McGreevy has also regained his PGA Tour card for 2025.
Another highlight in 2023 was the 59 shot by amateur Parker Sands of Edmond North, who is now preparing for his freshman season at the University of Florida.
The field will be cut to low 40 and ties following Friday’s round for the final 18 holes on Saturday.
