Oklahoma Historical Society podcast traces history of golf in Oklahoma

There is an interesting new podcast on the Oklahoma Historical Society website tracing the history of golf in Oklahoma with Dr. Bob Blackburn that you can access here.

Dr. Blackburn, the executive director of the Oklahoma Historical Society from 1993-2020, is an avid golfer at both Lincoln Park and a member at Twin Hills CC. A guest on the program is Steve Carson, director of golf at Lincoln Park.

The show points out the added value a golf course brings to a community large or small and traces the history of golf in Oklahoma since 1900 to where we are today as one of the premier golf states in the U.S.
