It will be worth keeping a close eye on the Lincoln Land Charity Classic in Springfield, Ill., this weekend on the Web.com Tour, as no less than 13 players in the field either live in Oklahoma or have close ties with the state.

At least seven players in the field list Oak Tree National in Edmond as their home course: They are Will Kropp, Taylor Moore, Rhein Gibson, Blake Trimble, Michael Gellerman, Talor Gooch and Cameron Meyers, who got in the field through Monday qualifying.

Former Oklahoma State All-American Jordan Niebrugge is in the field, as is former Cowboy Edward Loar. Chris Worrell of Jenks and the University of Tulsa, Charlie Saxon of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma, former Sooner Abraham Ancer and former Tulsan Brad Elder are also competing.

Live scoring can be found here.

Moore got off to a great start Thursday with a found of 4-under 67. Kropp shot 3-under 68, while Meyers and Niebrugge were at 3-under late in their rounds. Gibson and Trimble each shot 2-under par.
