Oral Roberts ties for sixth in Git-R-Done Husker Invitational
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Oral Roberts men’s golf team finished with its best round and tied for sixth in the Git-R-Done Husker Invitation Sunday afternoon in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Golden Eagles shot a 5-over 289 in round three, with 14 birdies on the day. Rocco Repetto-Taylor led the team in the tournament and shot a 72 (+1) in round three. He had four birdies in round three and finished tied for 13th in the field at 4-over. Jackson Howes had his best round on the final day with a 73 and tied for 34th at 11-over.
ORU finished two shots back from fifth place. Kansas State and Minnesota tied to win the event with a score of 852 (E).
