POOLER, Ga. – Oklahoma City University remained in 13th place as play in the NAIA women’s golf championships was suspended Thursday at Savannah Quarters Country Club.

Play will resume at 10 a.m. EDT Friday at Savannah Quarters. Fourth-ranked OCU had compiled 10 shots over par in the second round when play was suspended.

Lightning and inclement weather has caused delays throughout the tournament this week.

The Stars shot a 317 in the first round. OCU golfers had completed 15 holes of the second round.

OCU’s Anna Mikish, a junior from Choctaw, stood tied for 29th when play was halted. Caroline Goodin, a junior from Oklahoma City, tied for 38th.

Abby Thompson, a senior from Edmond, had a share of 49th place, and Kailey Campbell, a junior from Oktaha, placed tied for 76th for OCU. The Stars’ Raegan Barnes tied for 125th.
