Rick Bell promoted to head up 14 territories for PING

Rick Bell, who has been the Oklahoma and South Central Section representative for PING since 1999, has accepted a promotion and will now be managing 14 PING territories stretching from Oklahoma to Florida.

Bell, a former University of Oklahoma golfer and an All-American on the 1989 NCAA Championship team, started with PING in 1990 as product coordination and production manager and worked that role until becoming Manager of Field Representative Operations in 1998. He has represented the section (Oklahoma, Arkansas and southern Kansas) since Jan. 1 of 1999, following salesman Leon Faucett, the first PING salesman in 1966.

Bell will remain based in Norman. His son is now collegiate golfer in Arkansas and Bell remains competitive as well, having qualified for the U.S. Senior Open in 2021.
