Ana Ruiz tied for 33rd place for the Sooners at 224 after a 75, Hannah Wood also joined teammate Ruiz finishing in a share of 33rd place at 224 with a 74.

“We definitely improved each day,” said head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell. “I’m proud of the way the girls responded to our challenge about having fun and enjoying it more out there. We dug ourselves a hole the first day and it was hard to play catch up, but we improved every day and that’s what we need.”

The Sooners return to the course on March 17-19 in Mesa, Ariz., for the Clover Cup at the Longbow Golf Club.
