With a three-round 876 (+24), the 12th-ranked University of Oklahoma men’s golf team claimed the UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational for the second straight season. The two-day, 54-hole tournament, OU’s first of the spring, was played at the 6,765-yard, par-71 Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.

Entering the final round, the Sooners held a one-stroke lead and shot a 13-over 297 on Tuesday to finish five strokes ahead of 28th-ranked Baylor. North Texas took third in the 15-team field with a 33-over 885, while Louisiana and East Carolina tied for fourth with an 896 (+44).

The win is the sixth for OU under head coach Ryan Hybl and the second this season. The Sooners also won the fall-opening Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa.
