Strathe, Wilson roll in TGA Two-Man Challenge

Brandon Strathe and Freddie Wilson combined on a first-round 13-under 58, including three eagles, and then added an 11-under 96 in the second round in the modified shamble format to win the Tulsa Golf Association Two-Man Challenge at South Lakes Golf Course in Jenks.

The two-man teams played a straight shamble format (using the best drive and playing your own ball in from there) in the first round counting one score per hole and the second day counted both player’s scores on the even-numbered holes.

The duo’s total of 154 was five shots better than the second place team of Steve Hughes and Lee Inman. Complete results below.
