SWOSU, RSU chasing Central Missouri at Tulsa Cup at Forest Ridge

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Southwestern Oklahoma State women’s golf team trailed only Central Missouri after the first round of the Tulsa Cup Monday at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow. SWOSU was paced by Drew Dodgion, who was second individually after rounds of 73-70, trailing Central Missouri’s Mia Rallo by two shots.

Host Rogers State went into Tuesday’s final round in third place, seven shots behind SWOSU. Marelda Ayal leads the Hillcats in third place after shooting 144 (E) over the two rounds. Lydia Sitorus is close behind in a four-way tie for fifth with a card of 147 (+3). Brianna Maddux sits in a group of nine tied at 47th with a 159 (+15). Kristin Gudmundsdottir is in a three-way tie for 56th with a 160 (+16). Lauren Anderson rounds out the squad in a group of nine tied at 59th with a card of 161 (+17).

Oklahoma Baptist and Northeastern State are tied for fifth, while Central Oklahoma is in seventh. Southeastern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State are tied for 11th and Southern Nazarene is in 14th place.
