Fairhaven, Mass. (January 10, 2024) – Titleist, Golf’s Symbol of Excellence, proudly announces the selection of Pat Moriarty as its 2023 Sales Representative of the Year. The official presentation to recognize Moriarty for this distinguished honor took place during the Titleist National Sales Meeting in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Moriarty, who has been the Titleist full product line representative in metropolitan Washington, D.C. for five years after a 20-year stint in Oklahoma, has combined sales excellence with strong customer relationships to earn the highest honor in the Titleist sales organization. His consistent record of sales achievement and his commitment to service and sales professionalism also earned him his eighth Titleist Gold Circle Award, including his fourth consecutive in the nation’s capital. The Titleist Gold Circle is awarded to the Top 25% of Titleist representatives for sales growth and excellence. Moriarty was also a Titleist Sales Representative of the Year Finalist in 2022.

“It has been a pleasure to watch Pat execute the last five years with such strong performances,” said Bobby Acciardo, Moriarty’s Titleist Sales Director. “But, more than just the sales numbers, which are overwhelmingly impressive, he has made an impact throughout our company with involvement on various councils and mentoring our next generation of representatives. He continues to build upon a mature D.C. market through his relationship skills, high sales IQ and ability to grow the business.”

Moriarty has doubled the sales volume in the territory over his five years. In 2023 alone, he posted a 19% sales increase, including a third consecutive year of double-digit gains in each of the brand’s core categories – golf balls, golf clubs and gear.

“Pat has an incredible work ethic and desire to succeed,” said Acciardo. “He is a focused and determined representative, and a terrific ambassador for the Titleist brand. He has earned a high level of respect and trust from his customers, and fellow sales representatives and associates. His across-the-board performance in 2023, and consistent annual contributions throughout his illustrious 25-year career reflects the strength and dedication of our Titleist sales force to providing the highest level of service and support to our valued customers.”

A 1995 graduate of Providence College, Moriarty broke into the golf business as a Titleist inside sales representative in 1996. He earned his first outside sales position just three years later, beginning an impressive 20-year stint in Oklahoma where he was a multiple South Central PGA Sales Representative of the Year honoree. He worked for legendary Titleist sales rep Dale Davison before replacing Dale as he retired.

Moriarty and his wife Bonnie have three children – Hannah, Ashley and Jack.
