Austin, Texas — The Tulsa women’s golf team finished in 12th place at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on Tuesday after carding a final round score of 300 for a 54-hole total of 910 at the par-72 University of Texas Golf Club.

Tulsa senior Nadia Majidizadeh finished in 20th place with a score of 5-over par 221 after turning in her best round of the tournament today with a 1-under par 71 after turning in six-birdie putts, but three bogeys and one double-bogey kept her from turning in a better score.

Sophomore Johanna Samuelsson placed 63rd with a score of 234, while fellow sophomore Anneka Strobach finished in 65th place with a 235 score, but had Tulsa’s second-best round of the day with a two-over par 74.

Tulsa counted each of the four scores, since freshman Taylor Dobson had to withdraw on Monday after first round action.

Kenta State overtook second round leader Miami (Fla.) to win the team title by one stroke, 862-863, while Miami’s Dewi Weber had a 15-under par score of 201 to win individual medalist honors.

Tulsa is back in action next at the Trinity Forest Invitational, Nov. 7-8, hosted by SMU at the Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas, Texas.
