Tulsa Golf Association announces 2025 slate, popular Two-Man Challenge up first

The Tulsa Golf Association has announced its 2025 schedule with the popular TGA Two-Man Challenge kicking off the slate April  5-6 at South Lakes Golf Course in Jenks.

See the full 2025 slate at the TGA’s revised website here. Also the TGA is rolling out a new Facebook page this spring. Golfers can sign up for events and pay their annual dues and entry fees on the website.

Of note, the TGA’s signature event, the Tulsa City Championship, has been moved to the fall for the first time and will be played Sept. 13-14 at LaFortune Park Golf Course. Of note, none of the state’s three D-I football teams are at home that weekend.

The TGA Stroke Play Four-Ball Championship will be held April 26-27 at the greatly improved Stone Creek Course at Page Belcher, now under the leadership of Nick Sidorakis and Randy Heckenkemper.  The other weekend event, the TGA Two-Man Challenge 2, will be held on Olde Page on Aug. 16-17.

The TGA slate also has many fun one-day events at excellent venues. The Battlefield at Shangri-La will host a two-man shamble on May 6. Shambles will be held at Hillcrest Country Club, the Broken Arrow Golf & Athletic Club and season-ending Par-3 Championship at LaFortune Park. Also the TGA Senior Stroke Play Championship returns with a Tuesday-Wednesday outing Aug. 6-7 at Meadowbrook Country Club.

TGA events are open to all golfers in Oklahoma and are often flighted so players of all skill levels can enjoy competition. The City Championship has a Championship Flight but also open divisions and senior divisions.
