Under Armour Junior League starts in Western Oklahoma

The Junior Tour presented by Under Armour will come to Oklahoma this spring with a southwest Oklahoma swing managed by Bobby Taylor.

The Junior Tour offers nine-hole tournaments for four age brackets – 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18 – and is generally regarded as similar to U.S. Kids Golf events only offering more events away from major population centers.

The Western Oklahoma Spring 2022 Schedule includes stops March 5 at Lawton Country Club, March 12 at Duncan Golf & Tennis Center, March 19 at Winter Creek Golf Club in Blanchard, April 2 at The Territory in Duncan, April 30 at The Links at Norman and May 14 at Chickasha Golf & Country Club.

All players receive Under Armour apparel and standings are kept. Entry fee is $325 for the six events. Taylor is hopeful of starting leagues in “all four corners of the state and then hopefully one in the middle.”
