Verplank, Tettleton top luminous list in Oak Tree National Pro/Scratch
Only at Oak Tree National can they hold a pro/scratch with the luminous names below – and they are all members.
In the 2018 Oak Tree National Pro Scratch held last week, Scott Verplank and Mickey Tettleton won a playoff with Willie Wood and Jeff Oakes after both teams combined to shoot 10-under par 132 through 36 holes on the par-71 course.
Tied for third at 133 were the teams of Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame inductee Bob Tway and Bill Jackson with the team of Brandt Jobe, a recent addition to the Oak Tree National stable, and Trevor Stafford.
Other pros competing included Oklahoma Golf Hall of Famer Gil Morgan and current PGA Tour player Talor Gooch along with a host of young pros on their way up the professional ladder.
