Weather watch, storylines, Folds of Honor Friday and more for Compliance Solutions Championship

The 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Season — the 36th season in Tour history — continues with the Compliance Solutions Championship, the penultimate tournament of the Tour’s 25-event schedule and third of four season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Finals events.

While tournament officials are keeping an eye on what is expected to be a drenched Thursday and making decisions on play from there, here are some notes on the event.

The talented field includes five PGA Tour winners with 10 victories, led by three-time winners Cameron Champ and Chez Reavie. Also playing are 43 Korn Ferry Tour winners with 59 victories, led by four-time winner Robby Shelton. And two golfers are ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking: Ross Steelman (No. 80), Blades Brown (No. 100).

The Route 66 Cup presented by Compliance Solutions – a new competition for the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season to celebrate the 100th anniversary of historic U.S. Route 66 – concludes this week at the Compliance Solutions Championship. Tommy Morrison leads the Route 66 Cup standings ahead of the competition’s fourth and final event. Players are competing for a bonus prize pool of $100,000 with the winner receiving $66,000, with additional payouts of $22,500 for second place and $11,500 for third place.

John Marshall Butler, who stands No. 23 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, has logged top-25 finishes over his past three starts, including a top-10 at the AdventHealth Championship (T9) and a runner-up finish at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. Marshall earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for the first time this season with a No. 7 finish on the 2025 PGA Tour Americas Points List.

Cole Hammer stands No. 18 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. Hammer has logged top-10 finishes in the first two Korn Ferry Tour Finals events, placing T6 at the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation and T7 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. The Houston, Texas native has finished inside the top 75 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List each of the past two seasons.

2026 KEY STORYLINES

Tommy Morrison, who stands No. 8 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, leads the Route 66 Cup presented by Compliance Solutions ahead of this week’s final tournament of the four-event competition. Morrison stands No. 1 in the Route 66 Cup standings off the strength of his top-10 finishes in the three previous events of the Route 66 Cup, including his first career victory at the Evans Scholars Invitational.

Ross Steelman, Doc Redman, Ian Holt, and Alvaro Ortiz, Nos. 1, 3, 4, and 5 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, respectively, are the only multi-time winners this season. A third win this season would earn them an automatic promotion to the PGA Tour via the Three-Victory Promotion. Matt McCarty (2024) was the last player to achieve the feat.

Sandy Scott and Cole Sherwood were the latest two players to be declared TourBound, bringing the total to seven players along with Steelman, Redman, Holt, Ortiz, and Alistair Docherty. This means they are mathematically assured of finishing in the top 20 of the Korn Ferry Tour Points List and earning a PGA Tour card.

Upon conclusion of the 25-event Korn Ferry Tour season, the top 20 players on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will be awarded PGA Tour cards (i.e. – membership) for the 2027 season. Additionally, the player who finishes No. 1 will earn exemptions for the 2027 Players Championship and 2027 U.S. Open.

Following this week’s Compliance Solutions Championship, the top 60 players on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia’s Richmond Region. Those 60 players also earn full status for the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour Season.

Sandy Scott, who stands No. 2 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, captured his first career Korn Ferry Tour victory last time out at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship, becoming the seventh player to be declared TourBound and assured of PGA Tour membership for the 2027 season. In addition to his victory, Scott has logged an additional nine top-25 finishes with three top-fives over 18 starts.

TOP 20 BUBBLE

Tulsa native William Sides, who stands No. 82 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, will make his first start at the Compliance Solutions Championship. Sides earned status for the remainder of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Season with a No. 7 finish in the 2026 PGA Tour University Ranking after four seasons at Southern Methodist University. In 10 starts this season, Sides has logged four top-25s.

Folds of Honor Friday

OWASSO, Okla. – Folds of Honor Friday recognizes the commitment and sacrifice of military service members and first responders who guard our freedoms and protect our communities. It is an inspiring new experience for fans, players, caddies, sponsors, volunteers, and tournament staff to engage on-site through a shared connection and appreciation on those heroes who preserve our freedoms and protect our families.

At the Compliance Solutions Championship, all are encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Friday as an outward display of unity and an inward commitment to meeting sacrifice with hope for the families of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders.

Programming for Folds of Honor Friday presented by ONE Gas includes:

• Opening Ceremony with a Presentation of Colors (7:00 a.m., Hole No. 1 tee box) performed by Tulsa Police Department Honor Guard and a national anthem performance. Guest speakers include Lucas Fox (Tournament Director, Compliance Solutions Championship), Kelsi Hinshaw (Philanthropic Manager of Corporate Giving, ONE Gas), Sara Bush (Director of Golf Relations, Folds of Honor), and Mark Lammert (President, Compliance Solutions).
• Holes 9 & 18 will feature Military Service Members/Veterans and First Responders tending the flag on the 9^th and 18^th holes on Friday during the Second Round of competition. Players and caddies will interact with the special guests thanking them for their service.
• Official Folds of Honor ribbon pins and Challenge Coins will be proudly distributed and displayed throughout the inspirational day.
• Complimentary Military and First Responder Tickets courtesy of Case & Associates are available ALL WEEK with a valid government ID. Military and first responders may bring up to one (1) additional guest per day (Thursday-Sunday).
