Whitekiller wins Tour Championship on Golfslinger.com Tour

 JUPITER, Fla. – Former Oklahoma State golfer Trent Whitekiller of Sallisaw, Okla., making his first start on the Golfslinger.com Tour, won the 10th annual Tour Championship Thursday at Abacoa Golf Club. Whitekiller shot 64-69 over two days for an 11 under par 133, winning by two strokes. He earned $10,000 from the $35,000 purse.
 
Whitekiller made only one bogey in 36 holes, at the par-4 14th hole Thursday. He eagled the par-5 second hole Wednesday and the par-5 10th hole the final round. He had six birdies the first round, two the second.
 
Kevin Foley of Somerville, N.J., was second at 70-65—135 with two eagles Thursday, at Nos. 5 and 10, adding nine birdies and four bogeys overall. He had the low score the final round and collected $4,000.
 
Golfslinger’s 115th tournament of the year drew 70 entrants. Six events remain on this year’s schedule: Dec. 8, TPC Eagle Trace, Coral Springs; Dec. 9, Fountains CC, Lake Worth; Dec. 11, Martin Downs CC, Palm City; Dec. 15, West Palm Beach GC; Dec. 16, Jupiter Dunes GC; and Dec. 18, Atlantis CC.
