Wigington, Walcher win playoff for OGA Four-Ball Championship at Dornick Hills

Dustin Wigington and Conrad Walcher shot rounds of 64-68 for an 8-under 132 total, then survived a playoff with Brad Purcell and Hien Tran to win the Oklahoma Golf Association Four-Ball Championship Tuesday at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore.

Purcell and Tran shot 67-65 to forge the tie. Third place was a tie between the teams of Jeff Coffman-Brian Birchell and Jeff Bell-Elliot Soyez at 134.

The OGA Senior Four-Ball Championship was a runaway victory for the team of Peter Vitali and Blake Gibson, who shot rounds of 69-66 for a 5-under total of 135. Next best was an even-par 140 by Michael Alsup and Brad Nelligan (69-71) and by Don Cochran and Rick Bell (69-71). Fourth place was shared at 141 by the teams of Michael Hughett and Jason Gulley (71-70) and Gordy Guest and Steve Jelley (69-72).
