TULSA, Okla. – With a team GPA of 3.42, the Oral Roberts women’s golf team has earned 18Birdies All-Academic Team honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America, it was announced this week.

A total of 127 NCAA Division I teams earned the distinction by finishing the year with a team GPA of 3.0 or better.

“18Birdies is proud of the work these programs have accomplished off the course and to present this year’s Team Academic Awards,” said 18Birdies’ Founder and CEO, Eddy Lui. “We’ll continue to support the next generation of golfers as we know they will be the next leading voice to grow the game.”

The women’s golf team’s team GPA aided in the Golden Eagles posting a department GPA of 3.28 for 2017-18 school year, the highest in school history. ORU posted five top-5 team finishes in 2017-18, including runner-up finishes at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic and the ORU Classic, presented by Mark Allen.
