Wright, Valuck to meet for title in OGA Senior State Amateur

Defending champion Kirk Wright of Oklahoma City will meet Jon Valuck in the championship match Thursday of the Oklahoma Golf Association Senior State Amateur at Oak Tree Country Club (East Course).

Wright moved into the finals with a 2 and 1 victory over John Stansbury of Edmond in the semifinals. Valuck, of Oklahoma City, edged Don Clark of Shawnee 1 up in the other semifinal.

The championship match will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday.
