Cowgirls move up to sixth in NCAA Championship
Oklahoma State improved by eight shots and moved up to sixth place in the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Cowgirls were led Saturday by Lianna Bailey and Maja Stark, who each fired 3-under rounds of 69. Rina Tate shot 73 and Madison Hinson-Tolchard 74. Isabella Fierro, one of OSU’s top players all season, continued to struggle with a 79.
Stanford moved into first place with a second-round of 10-under 278 and are 17 shots ahead of OSU. The top 12 teams advance after Sunday’s round.
Bailey is tied for fourth individually at 1-under 143.
