Banks Cozby wins Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship qualifier

Banks Cozby of Tulsa shot rounds of 71-64 for a 9-under total of 135 at Firekeeper Golf Course near Topeka, Kan., to win a qualifier for the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship.
There was one qualifying spot available in the Boys 13-and-under category and Cozby won his age group by five shots over his nearest competitor.
Banks is the son of Southern Hills head professional Cary Cozby and caddied for his father this summer in the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.
Banks is now qualified for the Notah Began III final, a 54-hole event Nov. 13-15 at Koasati Pines at Coushatta in Kinder, La., with an two-hour special on Golf Channel.
