Bell, Cochran win in playoff, Hughett, Kirk roll to Senior Four-Ball title

Don Cochran and Rick Bell stormed from behind with a final round 64 to tie the team of Joby Dutcher and Jeff Cox, then prevailed in a playoff to win the Oklahoma Golf Association Spring Four-Ball Championship at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow Tuesday.

Rob Laird and Tyler Hunt shot a final-round 65 to take third place, three shots behind the leaders.

In the Senior Division, Mike Hughett of Owasso teamed with Kirk Wright of Oklahoma City to shoot blazing rounds of 63-64 for a six-shot victory over Bruce Maddux and Jim Roberts, who shot 67-66. Wright has been the dominant senior player in the state the past few seasons while Hughett added to his record and has now won 20 OGA championships
