Blonien cruises to WOGA Stroke Play title, Dierinzo, Miller repeat

Natalie Blonien of Altus, fresh off playing for Arkansas in the NCAA Championship, rolled to an easy victory in the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke Play Championship held Monday-Tuesday at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville.

Blonien shot rounds of 69-72 for a 3-under total of 141 and an eight-shot victory over Peyton Coburn of Tulsa, who plays for Bradley. Coburn shot rounds of 76-73. Sophia Leffler of Jenks was third after rounds of 78-76.

Winning the Mid-Amater Division for the eighth consecutive year and taking fourth overall was Michaela Dierinzo of Oklahoma City. She shot rounds of 78-77 to finish three shots ahead of Aubree Vaughan (76-82).

The Senior Division was a breeze for defending champion Janet Miller (78-78), who won by nine shots over Teresa Delazalere (84-81).
