Bowman leads Section Club Professional Championship in Oklahoma City

Blake Bowman of Pryor Creek Golf Course shot rounds of 70-65 for a 7-under total of 135 to lead through 36 holes of the 54-hole South Central Section Club Professional Championship at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club Monday.

Bowman has a one-shot lead over Trent Rommann of Crestview Country Club in Wichita. Jeff Combe of Tulsa Country Club is third at 4-under, followed by Michael Boyd of The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow at 3-under. Tied at 2-under are Jim Woodward of Oak Tree National in Edmond, host professional Tim Fleming, Cary Cozby of Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Mark Fuller of Surrey Hills Country Club and Steve Hausmann of Steve Hausmann Golf.

The top five finishers will play in the 2018 Club Professional Championship with a chance to qualify for the 2018 PGA Championship. The final 18 holes are Tuesday. Complete results are here.
