Broken Arrow, Okla. – Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow  recently welcomed David Carlisle as the club’s new general manager. Carlisle will oversee all elements of Forest Ridge Golf Club, including its 18-hole golf course, the Rocking “R” Ranch House Restaurant, the Ridge Club fitness/tennis center, guest service, and sales and marketing.

Carlisle has 29 years of golf and hospitality experience with a strong background in guest service. He most recently served as the general manager of Eaglerock Golf Course in Billings, Montana. Prior to Eaglerock, Carlisle was the head golf professional at Kissing Tree Golf Club, a Troon-managed facility in San Marcos, Texas. During his career, Carlisle has served as an assistant golf professional, head golf professional, teaching professional, director of golf, and general manager. He has worked at public and private golf facilities, with stops in Maui, Hawaii, Aspen, Colorado, and clubs throughout Texas.

“We are excited about welcoming Dave as our general manager at Forest Ridge,” said Forest Ridge owner Joe Robson. “His breadth of knowledge, commitment to customer service and friendly personality make him the perfect choice.”

Forest Ridge Golf Club opened for play in 1989 as the area’s first upscale, public golf club and is the centerpiece of the Forest Ridge master-planned community. The golf course was designed by native Oklahoman Randy Heckenkemper and has been honored as one of the top golf courses in the state by Golf Digest. The par 72 layout measures 7,083 yards from the tips. The Forest Ridge golf clubhouse includes the Rocking “R” Ranch House Restaurant where guests can enjoy hand-cut steaks, chicken fried steak, prime rib, and generations-old Robson family recipes with modern twists. The ranch-style restaurant is open to the public for dinner, lunch or hearty breakfasts.

“What a blessing to call Forest Ridge home now. I am beyond excited to be here, we have an amazing team that will continue to work hard to improve the experience at Forest Ridge,” said Carlisle, who is a Class-A member of the PGA of America.

To learn more about Carlisle and plans for Forest Ridge, he will be a guest on the Golf Oklahoma Radio Hour presented by the 2022 PGA Championship, Thursday night, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on The Tulsa Sports Animal, 97.1 FM.
